The Qaida Noorania Course builds the essential foundation for reading the Holy Quran correctly with Tajweed — perfect for beginners, children, and adults alike.
This course introduces the Arabic alphabet, pronunciation, and basic reading rules, ensuring every learner builds confidence and accuracy before advancing to Quran recitation or memorization. Our qualified male and female teachers focus on Tajweed (rules of Quranic pronunciation) to ensure that every word is recited exactly as revealed to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
1. Arabic Alphabet and Makharij
- Recognition of all 29 Arabic letters
- Correct pronunciation from articulation points (Makharij)
- Differentiation between similar letters (س & ص, ت & ط, etc.)
- Understanding Sifat (qualities) like Hams, Jahr, Isti‘la
2. Harakaat (Short Vowels)
- Fatha (َ), Kasra (ِ), Damma (ُ)
- Practice reading single and joined letters with Harakaat
3. Tanween (Double Vowels)
- Fathatain (ً), Kasratain (ٍ), Dammatain (ٌ)
- Sound and nasalization practice
4. Sukoon & Jazm
- Reading silent letters smoothly
- Identifying when a letter carries no vowel
5. Madd (Prolongation) Rules
- Madd Asli (2 counts)
- Madd Munfasil, Muttasil, Laazim, Badal, Aarid Lis-Sukoon, Lin
6–15. Advanced Tajweed & Pronunciation
- Shaddah, Noon & Meem Sakinah, Qalqalah, Lam & Ra Rules
- Ghunna, Waqf, Hamzah, Sifaat al-Huroof
- Comprehensive pronunciation practice and fluency training
Course Outcome
- Recognize and pronounce Arabic letters correctly
- Apply all Tajweed rules during recitation
- Read Quranic words and short verses fluently
- Be prepared for Quran Reading (Nazra) and Hifz courses
